Bike Info

Bike Description:
The BSA Boxer (later the GT50), Beaver and Brigand, where motorcycles made by BSA during the 70s to 80s (more accurate start and end builds are difficult to pinpoint). The engines in all these bikes were a Franco Morini UC4 which do share parts with some other Franco Morini engines like the t4 (should help anyone looking for parts I hope but do please check with the seller of such parts as not all are interchangeable) The bikes also share the same mono-shock frame hence the bash plate and trials type foot pegs All the switch gear and lighting are all cev The boxer/ gt50 was the sports bike featuring a bigger Intake manifold and carburettor giving the bike an approximate 4.5 bhp It also had a smaller rear sprocket than the other bikes The Beaver was the touring bike limited to 30mph via a smaller intake manifold and smaller carb compared to the boxer/ gt50 The Brigand was the trials bike This bike has a different front mud guard and is the same engine specs to the Beaver (again I believe this may be so, as not owned one yet) and also had a different exhaust Hope this information helps All Info Contributed by the following: Bernie Evans (owner of a boxer a beaver)
